This article is a bit different from usual: today, I want to tell you about a book. Which one? Mine, of course.

I’ve always loved writing, but when it was time to choose a career, I opted for science and have never looked back. Nonetheless, my passion for writing persisted, so I started this blog. Over the years, I’ve written numerous articles and often wondered if I could tackle something more challenging. A few years ago, I decided to put myself to the test and embarked on an ambitious project: writing a book.

Venturing into uncharted territory, I began with a topic I knew well – genetic manipulation. While it’s not the novel’s central theme, it provided a solid foundation for the story, which eventually evolved into an adventure/thriller. My main goal was to craft an unpredictable narrative, and I believe I achieved that. However, I’d love for you to be the judge.

Here is the book’s cover, giving you a glimpse into the plot.

“In Stockholm, in a cutting-edge laboratory, a scientist intends to manipulate the human genome, driven by the desire to enhance people’s ability to survive in an increasingly hostile world. But soon he will realize that he has no control over his own destiny.

In Utrecht, Netherlands, a young woman wakes up from a coma that lasted 5 years and discovers she has lost the use of her legs. Determined not to give up, she embraces a new life until her past comes back to haunt her. So, she realizes that she must confront her ghosts once and for all.

A hitman escapes from a bunker where he was imprisoned and sentenced to death. He embarks on a long solitary journey, constantly fleeing from his captors, while an implacable thirst for revenge grows within him.

Their destinies will converge in the Swedish capital where, amidst the icy alleyways, they will fight to achieve their goals. A trail of blood and violence will follow, as the characters are catapulted into a whirlwind of danger and surprises. As the truth begins to emerge, they are pushed towards a reckoning that will bring their adventures to an end. Perhaps.”
